Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Appnova EU OÜ ("Appnova", "we", "us") collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short because we collect very little.

Who we are

The data controller is Appnova EU OÜ, a company registered in Estonia (business registry code 17175318), located in Kuusalu vald, Harju maakond, Estonia. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].

What we collect

We collect one category of personal data: your email address, and only when you choose to give it to us by signing up for our "This Week in MCP" newsletter.

For website statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect personal data. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising cookies, or any other tracking.

Why we collect it, and our legal basis

We use your email address for a single purpose: to send you the newsletter you signed up for. Our legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the signup form. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see "Your rights" and "How to unsubscribe" below).

Who processes your data

We send the newsletter using Brevo (formerly Sendinblue), an email service provider that acts as our data processor. Your email address is stored on Brevo to manage the subscriber list and deliver the newsletter. Brevo's handling of data is governed by its own privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, we remove it from our active subscriber list without undue delay.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected (rectification);
• have your data erased;
• restrict or object to our processing;
• data portability;
• withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing done before you withdrew it).

We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share your email address only with Brevo, the processor that delivers the newsletter on our behalf, for that purpose alone.

How to unsubscribe

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link — one click and you're off the list. You can also email [email protected] and we'll remove you.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and revise the effective date at the top.
